Provide community services that enhances the social capacity within the county we serve and other nearby counties that need assistance within the confounds of the services we provide.

outlook and purpose

  • Provide affordable housing by buying, renovating, or building for sale or rental properties and building greensustainable homes for single families or the homeless.

  • Economic development (developing real estate, attracting businesses, forming new businesses, job training, summer work programs, and such)

  • Provide social services (shelters, community poverty relief, case work, substance abuse programs, social skills and budgeting trainings, Understanding personal credit, steps to becoming a homeowner.

  • Assist neighbors in getting to know each other (building social capital) or community organizing to get more attention from government and other funders.

  • Perform cleanup or beautification projects (clean up eyesores or streams, demolish  abandoned buildings, or add plantings, banners, public art, new streetscape)
